Cat video, quilt update
Hello faithful reader, it's a new decade!
I have all these quilts I want to make, but sometimes it takes me a long time to get the composition right. I did an art exchange with my friend Tom, because I really like his drawings and decided that might be a good way to get one to put in my house.
Here is what he sent me (I got it framed here):
And here is what I sent him (the composition was tricky and took me longer than expected):
Right now I am working on something where the composition is easy, it's a quilt for my nephew Jack, and it's about my chaotic life in New York and a search for pattern:
Bonus: here is a video (!) of my cat. It might as well be a photo, she doesn't do anything:

I love that you did an art exchange with Tom!
And that quilt is knocking my socks off. I love how vibrant it is, and I love that city life inspired it.
Next week.. we will talk about patterns! Cannot wait! I need to do a piece on patterns!
