Vicarious news: LL and Enoch and Tom and Heather and Heather's cousin are heading off to NYC in a day and a bit – I wish I were going too!!
Honest Ed died the other day; there's something about that man that I love:
As for Ed's final retirement, he jokingly suggested that he wanted to be cremated, have his ashes sealed in a large hourglass that would not only be put on display at Honest Ed's but also turned every hour so that his employees and his customers could say: "There's good old Ed ... still running."—The Globe & Mail

That quilt is AMAZING!!! Brad and I had this dream once that you would quilt us neat-o ragamuffin mini-quilts for all of the windows in the theatre so that we don't have to hang drab black fabric all over the place but then we remembered that we can't pay you and there are like 20 windows so we didn't bother asking. Sigh*
P.S. I'm back!
oh kate you're nice. and too bad you can't pay me because that would be a fun project!! AND, welcome back, it will be good to see you again.
SUE!
Your "first" quilt is gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
xoxo
