Boston + productivity

This past weekend, I drove to Boston with Barry and Eric.



Well, I didn't drive; Eric did.



We stayed with Eric's Grandma, and visited Naomi (in blue), who is now Dr. Naomi.



I enjoyed myself thoroughly. You can see way too many photos from this trip (when all I do for 20+ hours is sit in a car, I take photos to kill time) over here.

From a making-things perspective, it was a very productive trip: I am FINALLY done my sister's second sock!!





Now that my knitting plate is clear, what shall I work on next? Maybe I'll buy some new yarn...

I left the best till last

On my trip I am also going to see Philamena, assuming I can fit into her busy schedule (I hear it's already filling up).



I put her in a post all her own so she would get the attention she deserves.

It's official

I am going on a European tour in August! I just booked my ticket like five seconds ago.

Posting the postface poster

Ok I don't normally "promote events" but this one looks cool, has a cool poster, and rumour has it there will be cool tshirts on sale. Plus the proceeds go to a cool cause.

While wandering through the internet without any real direction

I found this funny shirt. If threadless reprints it, maybe I'll get one. People should make me more sandwiches.
