Frustrated/inspired

Doorway to...?

Still not much to report. The walk to work today made me CRAZY because I didn't have my camera, and I saw great photos all over the place. Maybe I will start bringing my camera as a default; of course, taking photos will make my walks to work take longer, which means I should leave earlier, which means I should get up earlier...

I have so many ideas: I am frustrated by my lack of time and discipline. Of course, I could just BE MORE DISCIPLINED ALREADY. sigh*

Lack of time does have its advantages: it forces me to actually use the tiny scraps of time I do have to make tiny scraps of interesting things. This morning just before leaving for work I made a fridge magnet with a cropped photo of the Gates in Central Park (no photo; cf above). Pleasing. It's in my cubicle now.

Tiny movements

Unexpected bloom

Not much to report here. The five jobs are still taking most of my time and, now noticeably, my energy. I started the heel on sister's sock2; also another dishcloth (for my grandma). And one of my plants is blooming! I love unexpected and unprovoked growth; it is so hopeful.

Long overdue

Well, it's been a while since I've written anything, hasn't it. Let's review some old business.

My dad's hat.

You can get the gist of it, anyhow. And my sister's second sock progresses.

Sister Trish's second sock

And no, that is not the same sock as before.

New business – well, there isn't much yet. I'm uninspired by sock2 and so I'm not knitting much right now (I also have a record number of jobs (FIVE); I'm sure that's distracting me from more important things, such as crafts). I am however always thinking of new projects... I'll let you know what I come up with.
